Brie’s Yoga timeline is surrounded by years of snowboarding, skateboarding, music, basketball, dance and the gift of becoming a mother. Yoga has fit into all angles of her life, from prenatal Yoga to injury rehab.
Brie left home when she was seventeen to live the mountain life. Her goal was to have over 100 days on her pass every year, which was easily achieved. She entered in several slopestyle competitions at Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and Winter Park. She has a love of learning new tricks- whether that be on her mat or snowboard. She still gets a pass every year to get her shred on!
Though Brie considers herself a very physical person, she recognizes the need to slow down. Meditation and creative hobbies make up a large portion of her life. She notices that sudden changes are balanced with rooted consistency. A good friend once told her, “practice takes practice.” She has learned “practice” doesn’t always have to include sweat and intensity... but she definitely likes when it does!
Clearly, Brie provides a mixed bag of tricks to her Yoga flow. She is an ACSM certified Personal Trainer, Kickboxing Trainer, and completed her 200hr-YTT at Soul Tree School of Yoga.
Her classes provide a mindful approach to movement, leaving students with a feeling of confidence and self awareness. She encourages a balance of effort and ease, both physically and spiritually.
