Liz has been practicing yoga for over ten years, and teaching yoga since 2008 when she earned her 200-hour Hatha Yoga certification at the Eldorado Mountain Yoga Ashram in Boulder.
Her own personal practice is influenced by Iyengar yoga and its emphasis on proper alignment to allow for maximum opening and release in the body. She also enjoys the slow, deliberate sequencing in Anusara and Tantra yoga and has had spectacular teachers in all of these traditions. Liz's classes allow students to go deep within and experience the calming and centering benefits of yoga.
Her students learn to be patient with themselves while holding challenging poses for several breaths, and are always rewarded with a well-earned, relaxing and restorative sivasana (final resting pose).
