Each year, Full Circle Yoga is graced with the presence of eager yogis, anxious to embark on their own journey as a Certified Yoga Professional.  Our 200-hour course allows students to both find and express themselves through the authenticity of yoga.

Students are offered an enlightening journey through poses, adjustments, anatomy and hands-on experience.  Bodies are enriched with daily yoga classes and hearts are challenged with finding its inner artistry. Teacher training is a major part of Full Circle Yoga and that’s why we are delighted to highlight Melissa Harms, recent graduate and yoga aficionado.

Mel began her TT voyage in Spring 2014 with the hopes of influencing others through contentment and movement. Her yoga endeavor began many years ago as a complimentary activity to her sports career, “I was amazed at how aware I became of the tiny little muscles that support my body and was pleasantly surprised what yoga added to my mental game. “

The sole practice of yoga has inspired Mel to connect with her emotions, her body and her peers. Full Circle Yoga has been a key component in her adventure, “From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like a part of the Full Circle family.   From what I observed through taking classes and going through the TT, Full Circle truly wants everyone to find happiness.” And that’s what Mel did; she found happiness.

It’s through the teacher training that Mel enriched her practice, found her voice and was taught patience. “The most valuable lesson that I learned was that of listening.  I felt that I was completely called to the training and I went and that felt wonderful”. Mel has been teaching at Yoga Luna in Loveland where she resides and plans to continue her yoga education through the Full Circle Yoga Mentorship (a program for 200-hour CYT to explore adjustments, anatomy, voice and community classes on a deeper level).

The future holds a lot of promise for Mel, including private yoga sessions and personal yoga retreats. “My yoga practice makes me feel beautiful.  I love feeling connected to who I am, physically, mentally, and spiritually. It’s a chance to marinate in my own thoughts.”
